LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Jan. 25, 2017) – Riverfest recently announced that Oaklawn will take the top spot as Presenting Sponsor at the 40th anniversary festival. Set to take place June 1-4, 2017, Riverfest brings a quality recreational, cultural celebration of the visual and performing arts for the benefit of and in partnership with the community.
“We’re thrilled to officially announce Oaklawn as our new Presenting Sponsor for the next two years,” said DeAnna Korte, the festival’s executive director. “Oaklawn has always been a vital part of Arkansas’ tradition and history, so it’s exciting to see this new partnership between two entities that are a driving force of tourism to our state.”
“Arkansas’ No. 1 tourist attraction is proud to be the presenting sponsor of Arkansas’ Premier Music Experience,” Assistant Director of Marketing Brandon Scott said. “Much like Oaklawn’s live race meet, Riverfest is an event that the whole state gets excited about and makes plans around. We’re very excited to be a part of Riverfest’s 40th anniversary year.”
