RiverFest, Inc. announced today that RiverFest, an Arkansas tradition, will return in 2018 to Little Rock’s Julius Breckling Riverfront Park located on the banks of the Arkansas River. The dates for the three-day music festival are Friday through Sunday, May 25-27.
RiverFest launched in 1978 with major national, regional and local acts, including Willie Nelson, James Brown, Gavin Rossdale, Snoop Dogg, Sheryl Crow and Kris Allen. The largest outdoor music event in Arkansas, music artists will play again on two main stages, one is the Arkansas Federal Credit Union Stage and the other will be announced.
The music artist lineup will be announced in April, and it will consist of the nation's best rock, classic rock, country, hip hip and pop performers.
In addition to a weekend of music, RiverFest will be filled with family friendly entertainment. The Ford Family Fun Zone will feature carnival attractions with adult and kiddie rides. Throughout the festival, guests will enjoy fair food and refreshments, vendors and family friendly activities, including meeting Disney characters. “We are thrilled to continue this annual tradition, and we look forward to hosting it so that Arkansans of all ages can enjoy the event,” said Jack Daniels, RiverFest event director.
