Riverfest ask festival goers to maintain a smoke-free environment in our KidZone area.
Get down to the river and join us for some "Real Live Fun" as the Arkansas Select Buick GMC Dealers present the "KidZone Playtime Promenade"! Located along the banks of the Arkansas River near the Peabody Playground & Water Park in the central area of Riverfront Park, kids will have a great time strolling along the Riverwalk Promenade which will feature lots of hands on activites, exciting games, creative crafts and more.
Visit the KidZone Craft area located in the Ozark Pavilion and have some "Real Live Fun" making a some "Real Fun" crafts. Featured crafts will include the "I'm Real Cool" craft where children will decorate a sun visor that will keep them "cool" and out of the sun's rays. Next will be the "I'm Real Hot" craft where kids can beat the heat with a paper pinwheel fan. We'll also have the "I'm Real Wild" craft where your child will enjoy making a wild animal puppet. And last but not least will be the "I'm Real Patriotic" craft where kids can color an American flag and craft it into their own miniature flag.
Other playtime activities will include the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Dipping Station, where your kids will love decorating their very own chocolate iced Krispy Kreme doughnut with a colorful sprinkle mix. Kids will have loads of fun playing in the giant Legos presented by the Museum of Discovery and they will have tons of fun in the water spray park.
You can also enjoy fun activities like Squirt Art on Canvas, Fanciful Face Painting and finger casts from Arkansas Children's Hospital. And there's more! Moonwalk Jump, Bean Bag Toss, Bubble Blowing, Chalk It Up Fun, and KidZone Hula Fun will provide hours of entertainment when you 'get down to the river' at Riverfest 2010.
