NAVY WEEK AT RIVERFEST

The Accelerate Your Life Experience (AYLE) is a 48-foot, multimedia immersion into the Navy. The features include the special warfare video games "Top Gun" and "SOCOM III" and four personal theaters or Immersa Domes™ where visitors view two-minute videos of carrier operations projected onto a drop-down visor. The interactive display includes sensory effects like wind and the smells of jet fuel and the ocean. Be sure to check out this cool exhibit in the west end of the festival near the Triple S Alarm Stage.
The F/A-18 Flight Simulators provide the power to simultaneously involve and communicate with the community and prospective recruits. It is programmed to move in-sync with point of view imagery presented on a large screen at the front of the simulator capsule. Integrated premium quality digital projection and surround sound technology are also included to provide a true immersive experience.
The flight simulators feature the live action ride film adventure “F-18 Carrier Experience.” Designed specifically to capture the imagination of the public and future Navy recruits, this ride film presents a pilot’s perspective of an aircraft carrier take-off and landing combined with low level flying. Additionally, a “Blue Angels” ride film is available for those that may enjoy a second opportunity to further experience U.S Navy life.
Hot Air Balloon Races and Glows to Delight Festival Goers!
Enjoy the fascination of watching Hot Air Balloon's rise each morning of Riverfest! Balloons will launch from the North Shore River Walk and race over the city. Flights will take place at 6:00 am Friday, May 28th; 6:30am Saturday, May 29th and 6:30 am Sunday, May 30th.
In addition to the balloon flights, get ready for a spectacular sight of color Friday and Saturday evening when the the Hot Air Balloons will set up at 8:30 pm on the North Shore to illuminate an awesome nightime display from the flames of their burners softly flickering to create a "Balloon Glow".
ALL HOT AIR BALLOON EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES WILL BE HELD "WEATHER PERMITTING". CONDITIONS MUST BE APPROPRIATE FOR FLIGHTS AND GLOWS.

The Super Retriever Series Super Dock Championship will be held again this year at Riverfest. The SRS is proud to host the best jumpers in the world, who will all compete for the title of SRS Crown Champion. The Ducks Unlimited Super Fly and Duck Unlimited Super V competitions are fun to watch as dogs test their skills on the dock. It is comparable to track and field. Super Fly is the distance or long jump into the pool and Super V (Vertical) is the high jump competition also into a pool. This Championship event will be held on the Little Rock side of the Arkansas River in the west end of Riverfront Park behind the DoubleTree Hotel.

TRG Scrap Exchange
TRG Scrap Exchange comes to Riverfest 2010. The TRG Scrap Exchange brings a van full of colorful, fun materials to your event for hands-on creativity. People of all ages will have a great time making things (anything they can think of — from hats to rockets to puppets to handbags) out of our fascinating variety of materials.
In addition to materials, we provide tools to create with (scissors, staplers, tape) along with two trained staff members who set everything up, help facilitate the creativity, and clean it all up afterwards. You can find The TRG Scrap Exchange behind the Peabody Hotel near the new sculpture garden in Riverfront Park.
Riverfest welcomes Mr. Niceguy's Vacations from Branson, MO. Mr. Niceguy's will be holding free hourly drawings for Branson hotel nights, show tickets, merchandise, prizes and more! No Strings Attached. Branson Vacation Guides, 2010 Show Schedules, Current maps and info. Put your name in and have a chance at over 27 different prizes being drawn for during Riverfest 2010.

MILK MOUSTACHE TOUR

The Milk Mustache Mobile “Milk the Moment” Tour will be stopping at Riverfest to help celebrate those special moments that families share around the dinner table. At Riverfest, Little Rock residents can: Enter the “Milk the Moment” contest for a chance to win the ultimate family dinner experience with celebrity chef Tyler Florence, participate a football toss, snap their very own souvenir Milk Mustache photo, speak with registered dietitian about the benefits of being a milk drinker and sample lowfat and fat free milk from local dairies including Coleman Dairy and Hiland Dairy Foods.
Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center & The Arkansas Game and Fish Aquarium


The Nature Center offers an overview of wildlife conservation by showcasing the mission of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. Highlights of the center include a 9,000 gallon aquarium of native fish, watchable wildlife viewing area, nature exhibits, gift shop & an antique fishing tackle display. The center is the place to come for information about the natural divisions of Arkansas. Free admission. Special Riverfest hours are Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Also, just outside the Center, visit the huge mobile fish aquarium and learn all about Arkansas sport fish and fishing techniques.
Disc-Connected K9's – World Famous Frisbee Dogs!
The Disc-Connected K9's – World Famous Frisbee Dogs from Jacksonville, Florida will be returning for Riverfest 2010! Their routine, choreographed to music, carries a message of fun, athleticism, and canine bonding. Performances will be in the West End of Riverfront Park in Little Rock behind the DoubleTree hotel.

Don't have 80 days?!? Well, come to the International Village and go around the world in a matter of minutes! This exciting section of Riverfest includes crafts and performers from countries all over the world! So come make crafts from other cultures and be prepared to have your passport marked "FUN"! Crafts for 2010 include a 3D Star from the United States; Native American Headdress; Blarney Stone from Ireland; Tissue Paper Flowers from Mexico; a Platypus from Australia; a Paper Fan from Japan; Worry Beads from Greece; and a Hand Lamb from New Zealand. Visit all of these countries in one place - Riverfest 2010!
The International Village will be located on the Little Rock side of the festival, west of the KidZone Stage in the Riverfront Park Belvedere. International Village is open from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday and 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday. Enjoy Riverfest's international experience.
