Does Riverfest Recycle?

Riverfest’s  “Go Green” initiative is back for its 8th year.  Over the years the program has encouraged festival-goers to get involved in recycling by bringing aluminum cans and plastic bottles they have collected on the festival ground to "Recycle for Robert" recycling containers. This effort, in loving memory of Robert Robinette who founded the program, has been wildly successful in keeping many tons of recycling from the local landfill.  During this time Riverfest has partnered with Entergy to help with the cost of the recycling program.  With their support we were able to obtain many high quality recycling barrels that will be placed liberally within the festival.
